Nocatee has one of the best off-leash dog park networks of any master-planned community in Florida, and it's a big part of why so many dog owners move here. If you're new to the area — or just haven't made the rounds yet — here's every dog park in Nocatee, what makes each one different, and a few tips for getting the most out of them.

Trails for Tails

Located inside Nocatee Community Park, Trails for Tails is one of the most popular spots in the neighborhood. It features a small lake for dogs to splash in, plus paved and manicured pathways for a lap or two before or after playtime. It's an easy stop if you're already headed to the Community Park's pools or splash park with the family.

Greenleaf Park

Greenleaf has a fully fenced K9 area surrounded by tree-lined walkways and a covered pavilion, which makes it a solid choice on hot Florida afternoons when you want some shade while your dog runs.

Paws Park (Davis Park)

Paws Park sits inside the busier Davis Park and includes two separate fenced-in dog areas, which is handy if you've got a mix of big and small dogs in the family or just want a bit more space to spread out.

Cypress Tails

Cypress Tails offers an expansive fenced field near the Cypress Trails clubhouse, pool, and pavilion — a good option if you want to make a whole outing of it with the rest of the family while your dog gets some real room to run.

Central Bark

Central Bark sits at Twenty Mile Post, between The Crossing at Twenty Mile and The Outlook at Twenty Mile. It has separate entrances for small and large dogs, plus agility equipment if your dog needs more than just open space to burn off energy.

Smaller Neighborhood Parks

West End Park, Crosswater Park, and Settler's Pond each have their own smaller dog parks too, usually with separate small- and large-dog areas — convenient if one of the bigger parks isn't on your daily route.

Nocatee Preserve

For longer walks rather than off-leash play, the Nocatee Preserve spans roughly 2,400 acres with boardwalks, unpaved trails, and natural shoreline. It's on-leash, but it's one of the best places in the area for a real hike with your dog.
