During tournament week, streets near TPC Sawgrass see significantly more traffic than usual, and overflow parking often extends well beyond the course itself into surrounding neighborhoods. If your regular dog-walking route runs anywhere near the course, plan for slower going and more pedestrian and golf-cart traffic than you're used to.

More foot traffic through your neighborhood

Rental properties and short-term stays spike during tournament week across Ponte Vedra Beach, which means more unfamiliar faces — and often more unfamiliar dogs — passing through streets that are normally quiet.
